Abercrombie & Fitch Doesn't Want to Sell Clothes With Their Logo Anymore

Once upon a time Abercrombie & Fitch was offering to pay the Situation a "substantial" amount of money to not wear their clothes. Obviously the brand of the sweatpants he wore often on Jersey Shore were easy to identify by the huge ABERCROMBIE running down his thigh. That was in 2011, and Abercrombie has just recently learned that the real problem isn't the Situation, it's the pants themselves (hm!), and if they didn't make them at all they wouldn't have had this problem to begin with.

Hoping to boost sales among Youngs who now seem more inclined to pick up tank tops at stores like H&M for $10 rather than A&F-emblazoned sweats that retail for around $70, the brand has pledged to phase out their logo on clothing in North American stores entirely by the spring, reports the Christian Science Monitor. Apparently they've reduced their logo-branded merchandise by half for this fall season. A&F CEO Michael Jeffries claimed on a conference call with investors that the logo-free clothes are "gaining traction" with customers.

Executives did not comment on whether or not they plan to phase out branding their shoppers with the thick stench of Abercrombie fragrance they pump through the air vents in stores that stays with you for days.

Twentysomething Women Smuggled Stolen Watches in Their Vaginas

Three women stole watches from a Las Vegas hotel room and attempted to smuggle them out in their vaginas [via Fox Las Vegas].

After talking their way into the hotel room of two gentlemen, Bryanna Warren and Trinity Kennard, both 23, and Charmella Triggs swiped their $12,000 and $4,000 watches. (Aside: Why are these two guys leaving their watches around, especially when they're worth more than pretty much anything I own?) The guys realized their watches were missing, at which point the three thieves booked it out of there. One of the men gave chase, but gave up when one of the women threatened him with a stun gun.

The escaping culprits then stuffed the timepieces into their vaginas, according to security footage. Because I guess they figured if they got stopped by police, the police would just be like, "Oh, well. I don't see the watches and I'm not about to check your vagina, so you're free to go." Also, I don't have a vagina so I'm no expert, but wouldn't all those watch links be really ... abrasive? And what are they going to do with the watches later? I feel like most pawnshops would tell them, "Sorry. I can't accept this. It smells like it's been in a vagina." I've seen Pawn Stars before. This is always a concern.

Despite a stellar plan, police caught up with the robbers while they were hailing a taxi. They're being charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit grand larceny, and conspiracy to commit robbery. Authorities were able to recover one of the watches. :-(

Porn Stars Donated Their Breasts for Charity "Squeeze-a-Thon"

The "Stop!Aids" event in Japan just wrapped up, and it was either magnificent or skeevy; I can't decide which. Donors paid to squeeze the breasts of nine porn stars, with the proceeds going to AIDS research [via Nation Multimedia].

The entire event, hosted by the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention (yes… JFAP), was televised on a local adult station. "I'm really looking forward to lots of people fondling my boobs," participant Rina Serina told the Tokyo Sports newspaper. "But I would be very happy if you would please be delicate." That's a valid concern considering her breasts were on loan for the entire 24-hour telethon.

As brilliant of a fundraising campaign as this is (almost more brilliant than the Ice Bucket Challenge) it's still pretty gross. Can we really not donate to AIDS research without being pervy? I was feeling ranty about this, but I started to feel better about it when I found out the event was called "Tittengrabschen" in German. You can't be mad about Tittengrabschen.

Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj Cemented Their BFF Status With Diamonds

Nicki Minaj may have had to literally hold her dress closed during the VMAs, but something else happened on Sunday that presumably negated any strife caused by her malfunctioning outfit. Apparently, Beyoncé, humble queen of our nation, visited Nicki in her dressing room and presented her with a diamond necklace that spells out the word "FLAWLESS." Are you dead yet?

The pair collaborated earlier this month on the "Flawless" remix, which Beyoncé briefly touched upon in her 16-minute VMAs medley (she sang the elevator line, naturally). "If Beyoncé didn't walk into your dressing room and give you a diamond 'FLAWLESS' necklace, then there's no way you could be having a better week than me," Nicki wrote on Instagram. "Thank u QUEEN. Ur just a precious gem. I could never thank you enough for your influence on powerful women all around the world." Then she hashtagged it #WeFlawless, and everyone on the planet imploded from a mixture of jealousy and happiness.

Do Women Who See Their Ultrasounds Decide Against Abortion?

In the movie Juno, Ellen Page's pregnant teen character is about to walk into the abortion clinic when a protestor outside yells "Your baby has fingernails!" Ultimately, the remark makes her decide to keep it. Although this (hopefully) wasn't Diablo Cody and co.'s intention, pro-life legislature has followed that example. Currently, seven states require women seeking abortions to get ultrasounds before going through with it, and three states mandate that the doctor must show and describe the ultrasound to the woman.

The psychological motivation behind this is the theory that looking at the ultrasound will cause unconscious "fetal bonding" for the mother and make her less likely to abort — however, the original study that discovered this only looked at women who wanted the baby in the first place. So when it comes to abortion-seeking women, how well does this work?

Slate reports that a new study, which examined 15,000 patient records at an L.A. abortion care provider has the answer, and it's honestly not surprising. Women were asked how confident they were in choosing abortion and were placed into two categories: High decision certainty and low-to-medium decision certainty (the latter category only 7.4 percent women fell into). Forty-two point five percent of the whole group opted to see their ultrasounds beforehand, and it's true that their ultimate rate of abortion, at 98.4 percent, was lower than the women who opted not to, at 99 percent.

However, the women who looked at the ultrasounds and opted not to go through with it were women who already had the low-to-medium decision certainty — they were less confident that this was the option for them, right from the jump. In other words, the only women changing their minds after seeing the ultrasounds weren't sure anyway. So the pro-life movement should take note: Women who are positive that abortion is right for them won't be fazed by their manipulative tactics.

10 Conclusions You Can Make About People Based on Their Eyebrows

Your eyebrows say more about you than how much you like using your tweezers. According to facial reading expert Jean Haner, they are signifiers of your self-confidence, assertiveness, logic, organizational abilities, motivation, and how you make decisions. Let's use celebrities to decode what your eyebrows say about you.

1. Short Eyebrows

Shorter eyebrows like Britney Spears's, "are typically a sign of someone who doesn't deal with stress very well," says Haner. "These people usually don't like having to deal with their friend's dramas as well."

2. Long Eyebrows

People with long eyebrows, like Eva Mendes, "tend to deal better with stress and typically have a lot of friends that they don't mind listening to and helping out with their problems," Haner explains. "They're also usually really good workers, can take on big jobs, and can also be competitive."

3. Naturally Thin Arches

"Naturally thin or sparse eyebrows" — think Taylor Swift — "symbolize people who tend to doubt themselves, are unsure, and believe what other people tell them," she says. "They tend to be more cautious, so they live life a little more carefully."

4. Naturally Full Brows

"Thick eyebrows" — like Cara Delevingne's — "signify someone who loves to be active," says Haner. "They're naturally confident, they have a good head on their shoulders, and they can figure things out quickly. Sometimes they can get frustrated easily though if others are holding them back from what they want to do, because they are really good at getting things done."

5. Eyebrows With High Arches

"Brows that are placed high above the eye (these are usually very curved, too)" — like Megan Fox's — "tend to mean that this person isn't as approachable — they're more sensitive and tend to hold back a little bit," explains Haner. "They also need more space and sometimes can be perceived as conceited, but it's really that they take more time to warm up to other people. They also tend to be perfectionists and have really good taste."

6. Arches That Are Low

"Eyebrows that are low (aka very close to the eye), like Lilly Collins, typically tell you that that person is approachable and easy going," Haner says. "They also tend to stick by their promises. There is actually a label for these eyebrows: they're called "Coaches Eyebrows," because these people want to stick by your side until you win."

7. Rounded Eyebrows

"Eyebrows that have a rounded curve" — like Beyoncé's — "usually mean that person is extra kind and thinks about others' needs," says Haner. "They're also tactful in their communications, always want to create a win-win for any situation, and like to be in a relationship — they're not loners."

8. Eyebrows With Little to No Arch

"Eyebrows that go in a straight line" — think Jessica Alba's — "mean these people tend to think logically about decisions," she says. "They're thinkers that value logic — they're usually not super-emotional."

9. Brows That Are Peaked

"Eyebrows that are more peaked" — like Olivia Wilde's — "represent people that like to have fun, think fast, talk fast, make quick decisions, and need stimulation," says Haner. "They're spontaneous, they can also react quickly when it comes to their emotions, and they tend to have a good sense of humor."

10. Eyebrows That Are Thin From Being Over-Plucked

"Since our eyebrows signify our self-confidence, if someone" — say, Pamela Anderson — "overplucks theirs, they can actually reduce their self-confidence and lower their decision-making abilities," explains Haner. "Plucking your brows too thin can also attract people toward you that will walk all over you, because your self-confidence has been lowered."

Here's to any shaped brow but an overplucked one!

"Spreadsheets" App Helps Dudes Improve Their Sexual Performance

It was only a matter of time until the invention of an app for guys to scrutinize their sexual performance. That day is here: Spreadsheeds, the brainchild of a bunch of dudes over drinks, can be downloaded to "keep track of how many thrusts per minute they're averaging, measure how long they really last, and how loud she gets," as well as count the calories burned.

There's even the option to share the data with friends, kind of like a creepier version of the Livestrong app. But don't fret : There's no playback option.

20 Mistakes Everyone Makes in Their Twenties

1. Not getting enough sleep. “But Anna,” you ask, “How can I sleep when there are so many mistakes to make?!” Don't worry, you have an entire decade's worth of days and evenings to irrevocably fuck up your life. (1.5. Not washing the pillowcases often enough. Once a week, or else your skin will suffer.)

2. Being addicted to social media. He liked that picture of your cat on Facebook, and then you retweeted his tweet, and then you trolled all of his friends’ Instagrams to try to find out if he was dating someone else, and then he posted a news article to your wall that related to this inside joke you guys have, and by the way, it is a beautiful day outside.

3. Washing your hair too much. Yes, too much, especially if it’s not stick-straight! By the time I was 24 my hair had the consistency of tree bark. Skip a few shampoos and just condition, or use dry shampoo! I use Rene Furturer, that stuff in the dark green spray bottle.

4. Wasting money on restaurant meals. I spent the first 5 years of my twenties dragging my hungover ass out of bed and feeding a $14 artisanal omelet to my mouth. If only I had skipped maybe one of these a week, I’d have $60 extra for grocery money, or for one GIANT artisanal omelet that we could all share.

5. Being health-bipolar. During the day we’re drinking green juice and going to yoga. At night we’re out partying with friends and ending the night with 4 a.m. fast food. The former does not detract from the latter — your body is just confused as shit. :(

6. Trying to tan. Ack! Stop. Even outside of a tanning bed, UV rays are no good.

7. Spending all your time in a relationship. Friends of mine who were with the same guy all through their twenties are lamenting it now. Before you settle down, you gotta get some strange. To truly appreciate the good men, you have to road test the bad ones.

8. Or chasing after someone who is completely disinterested in you. Does he never ask you questions about yourself? Swoon. Does he take at least 24 hours to text you back? Nice. Are you in his phone as “Mike” so that the other girls he’s hooking up with don’t know? Yayyy! (No.)

9. Getting sloppy with birth control. It is a joke to try to pretend that it doesn’t feel better without a condom, but everyone's gotta. You gottttttta.

10. Get a long-term pet with a significant other. So you and your boyfriend decided to drop a few of your start-up paychecks on Chuckles the $1,200 cockapoo. If you don’t last as a couple, Chuckles is a child of divorce, which we all know is a gateway to drugs and juvenile delinquency.

11. Drunk texting/dialing. And rolling over in the morning dreading to look at your phone. Hoooo boy do I know what that's like.

12. Extreme diets. No matter how many lemon juice, cayenne pepper and holy water holistic cleanses you go on, you’ll end up at your normal weight ultimately.

13. Hoard $15 H&M trend pieces instead of saving for something expensive and timeless. A cheapo peplum top (last year) or pleather leggings (2007)ish are always bound to go out of style, like, tomorrow.

14. Splurging on beauty products that you know in your heart you won’t use. Sephora is in business because “If I just buy this $75 unicorn-horn face powder, everything in my life will immediately improve and I will know what the fuck I am doing” seems logical to us, briefly. It’s not true!!

15. Spending a lot of energy on envying someone you have decided is your nemesis. She is the 2.0 version of you, in possession of the career, boyfriend, wardrobe and apartment of your dreams. Or she is just an acquaintance whose superiority complex and complete lack of self-awareness annoyed the shit out of you. (Not that I’m writing this from experience or anything.) Take a breath, and let it go.

16. Letting harsh judgments of your friends’ boyfriends’ (or your friends’ harsh judgments of your boyfriend) tear apart close friendships. He’s a tool. Just let everyone figure it out on their own time.

17. Letting your office treat you like an intern when you haven't interned in years. Yes, your mom’s over-enthusiastic friends are right when they tell you “how lucky you are to have a job in this economy.” But being a full-fledged employee with a salary who is regularly told to get coffee for supervisors and carry heavy boxes is bullshit.

18. Hooking up (the “feelings” way, not just the “casual” way) with a friend’s sibling. If the sibling lives in the same town that you both do, this is the most awkward social decision you can possibly make, besides going to Jay-Z's 40/40 Club in a chicken suit or something.

19. Pick the wrong-ass roommates. Sure, she was a good nightlife friend in college. But do you want her walking through your room of the railroad apartment at 3 a.m. dragging some douchey party promoter for a one-night stand? #nope

20. Slow down. Adulthood doesn’t happen overnight. Enjoy the decade — appreciate your wide-open future and perky boobs while you still can.

Film at 11."By Anna Breslaw

Like the transformation of a well-respected chrysalis into a semi-tragic, mid-life-crisis butterfly, Leonardo DiCaprio has slowly becomes a parody of himself. One day he's swimming in St. Barth's with two topless women and Jonah Hill (whom he actually "high-fived", because BOOBS). The next day he's wearing this tiny ponytail. It's not good.

However, Leo's real Achilles heel, as a seasoned Modelizer, are the young things. After failing to convince Cara Delevigne (20) to go home with him at Cannes, the 38-year-old had to "settle" for German model Toni Garrn (21). Titanic this ain't.

He's hardly the only male celebrity who's pushing 40 but still chasing barely-legal arm candy.

Bradley Cooper (38) and shy dental hygienist Abby Fleckman who would be pretty without that rosacea problem English model Suki Waterhouse (21) officially stepped out as a couple this past spring, right on the heels of his breakup with Zoe Saldana (35). He also dated older woman Renee Zellweger (44) in 2011. Please note that when rumors flew that Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence (23) were hooking up after starring in Silver Linings Playbook, he responded by saying "I could be her father!" Not an issue anymore, apparently.

Playboy Derek Jeter (39), who has also been known to play baseball occasionally, may have finally put a ring on it. "It" being 23-year-old Ralph Lauren and Sports Illustrated model Hannah Davis. The two were spotted walking around New York yesterday, and she was sporting a ring the size of... uh, let's just say now there's a good reason we know Pluto's not a planet.

Johnny Depp (50) left Vanessa Paradis (40), his longtime partner and mother of his kids, for 27-year-old Amber Heard. He met the young bisexual actress on the set of The Rum Diary. That would be a 23-year age gap, for anyone who's too lazy to do the math.

So to all of the men above and any I've forgotten, just remember: Dating a girl young enough to be your daughter does not mean you are going to live forever. It mostly means that you'll be the J. Howard Marshall to her Anna Nicole. And eventually, you're just gonna want to be with a smart lady who's your equal and makes you laugh.

YogaPantsGate Rages On: PA Schoolgirls Must Cover Their Boner-Causing Asses

This year has been fraught with debate over yoga pants. In March, a high school in in Minnesota outright banned girls from wearing them because of how much they can "distract" their male peers. (What's next, they're going to ask girls to bind their breasts? Come on now.)

The concept of yoga pants being "too sexy" is one that many of us find bemusing, After all, most of our yoga-pant-wearing happens when we are sweating in highly unsexy ways, running errands without showering first, or watching a Say Yes to the Dress while our mud masks dry.

The latest in the national yoga pants crisis, comes to us today from a school in western Pennsylvania that says girls in 8th through 12th grades can wear their yoga pants to class, as long as they also wear a long shirt or tunic-like top. (Said top must reach to a girl's fingertips when her arms are down.) So they can wear yoga pants, but they must literally cover their taut, boner-causing asses.

Sure, the ruling is better than an outright ban, but it still makes it seems like girls have to cover their bodies so that boys will be able to learn—i.e. stare at the whiteboard rather than their female classmates bums. And school board member Paul Paoletta was pretty snide in declaring that some girls "don't know how to wear them." Do indulge us in a lesson on teen girls' fashion, Paul! Can't wait… Love, Cosmo.

Adorbs Boy Schools Men on Their Crap Dating Habits

If your college experience was anything like mine, there was no such thing as going on a "date." No, the closest thing to being asked out was when some frat guy texted you at 10 p.m. asking if you wanted to roll over to his house's "Something Something Hoes" party that night. And who says romance is dead?!

Well, a young "gentleman in the making" who knows how to treat a lady is trying to change our modern college mating rituals. Ten-year-old Cole Nowlin stars in an adorable video making its Web rounds, in which he tells guys he's a little disappointed in them (welcome to the club, Cole) and, while passing out roses to various ladies, imparts the following advice:

1. Be thoughtful— a nice dinner is good start.

2. Do the little things, like pulling out chairs and opening up doors.

3. Take the time to talk to her.

4. Don't just be a nice date, be a nice guy.

5. Make George Clooney proud and be the knight in shining armor every woman wants to you be.

Guys, are you paying attention?

Why Are The Most Educated Women More Likely to Ditch Their <br /> Careers?

Well, this is puzzling career news: According to a new study, women who've graduated from the most elite undergraduate universities in the country are more likely to leave the workplace, at least part-time, than women who graduated from less selective institutions.

Vanderbilt professor Joni Hersch, the researcher behind the study, says these ladies are primed to succeed in their career paths, yet many are opting not to: Just 60 percent of female graduates from so-called "elite" colleges are working full-time compared to 68 percent of women from other schools. While it may seem like a small margin, these numbers make a big statement, Hersch says.

"Even though elite graduates are more likely to earn advanced degrees, marry at later ages and have higher expected earnings, they are still opting out of full-time work at much higher rates than other graduates," she says.

Hersch found that having kids is the major reason why these women cut back on work: Among elite graduates, married women without children are 20 percent more likely to be employed than those with children, while that difference in the probability of employment is 13.5 percent for non-elite graduates. The odd thing about this is that the women who went to better schools presumably command higher salaries and have more job choices—the latter meaning, in many cases, a better chance for flexibility.

Perhaps these ladies followed the recent controversial advice of Princeton alum Susan Patton and used their time at these choice schools to get their MRS degrees—and maybe they landed successful hubbies who make enough dough so they don't have to work. Or maybe they've figured out how to make it rain without having to put in as much time as the rest of us.

But that can't be true of all of these highly-educated women, right? And even if it were, research shows that women are happier when they share both household and bread-winning duties with their partner, rather than following more a gender-divided model in which the guy works and the woman takes care of the home and kids. (This is something that Sheryl Sandberg points out in Lean In.)

Another study released today from Brigham Young University and Utah State University confirms that sharing domestic responsibility makes for a better relationship—and life. While duties don't have to be split 50/50, the more women perceived that their partners were engaged in family-related tasks, the happier both men and women were as a couple.

So, while we're certainly not judging women who decide to opt out (choose your choice, ladies!), these very-educated women could be better off keeping those careers. First of all, we need more super smart ladies kicking ass in high-level positions, which typically go to people who went to those selective schools, as Hersch noted in her study .

But on a couple-to-couple level, figuring out work/life balance as a team is not only more fair—why should women put in all that effort to get into a top school and then not actually use their education?—and actually makes family life stronger and more satisfying. Seems like a win-win to us.
