Here's Miley Cyrus Naked on a Pile of Stuffed Animals

Miley Cyrus covers the fall issue of V magazine (fittingly titled the Rebel Issue) in a baby blue fur bathing suit by Fendi, which kind of makes her look like a really hot Muppet. You know, the kind that would make Miss Piggy worry that Kermit was about to leave her, if Kermit weren't such a nice, one-woman frog. Photographed by Chanel mastermind Karl Lagerfeld, it's not totally clear that this photo was styled for a magazine shoot or if this is just how Miley relaxes at home after a long day. Because if anybody likes to hang out on top of a bunch of plush toys while wearing a furry swimsuit, it's Miley.

Miley also Instagrammed a censored nude shot of herself on top of the same pile of stuffed animals (see below), ostensibly for the purpose of convincing people to subscribe to the magazine in time to get the new issue, but probably just to give people a better look at that cute crocodile. Either way, this seems like a very effective way to advertise.

In other Miley news, she sent Ariana Grande flowers after the VMAs, perhaps as some sort of "welcome to the pop star fold" gesture. Hopefully this is the beginning of a beautiful (and duet-heavy) friendship.

10 Naked Women Standing in the Woods, Fundraising

"When we first started this project, we had no idea it would be what it is today," says Sara (or Holli, I'm not sure which), co-founder of The Goddess Project. The project seeks to promote positive, realistic representations of women in the media.

Their first step was to release a video of 10 nude women breathing deeply in the woods back in June, but they have now broadened the mission with a Kickstarter campaign and a passionate video interview with Sara and Holli:

With the funds, they hope to produce a "grassroots documentary that will inspire women everywhere to overcome their fears and live the life of their dreams," "a film that showcases multifaceted women being open, honest, and real."

"Movies play a huge role in shaping culture and we need more films that educate and empower women rather than perpetuating negative stereotypes and limiting beliefs," Sara and Holli write on their Kickstarter page.

The women are more than halfway to their $50,000 goal. (Which they are not spending on gas! They drive a vegetable-oil-powered van. Although vegetable oil ain't free.) They're now touring the country, interviewing hundreds of women of all ages, races, shapes, and sizes about their life stories on camera, in hopes that women everywhere will get to see that they are not alone.

The 10 Stages Of Being Naked, By Age

1. Age 1 – 4
What are toes?

2. Age 5 – 9
I love not having any clothes on! Why can’t I walk around naked outside? Why do I have to wear this dress? Yes, take a ton of embarrassing pictures of me prancing around the house butt-ass-naked! I’m the queeeeeEEEEEN.

3. Age 10 – 13
Every time I take my clothes off I see some new weird thing that has only vaguely been explained to me. I guess this is why my mom left that Your Body Is Changing, Girlfriend! Now Go Be A Woman! book on my bed and we never spoke of it again. Why do things have to change? Also STOP CALLING THEM BREAST BUDS. I’m confused.

4. Age 13 – 16
How can Jaime Goldberg just like, pirouette around the locker room naked when the rest of us are doing the patented teenage girl change-without-showing-any-private-body-parts shuffle? Is it because her name has an “I” in the wrong place? Her body isn’t weird and lumpy like mine. I think I’ve seen her boobs more than I’ve seen my own boobs.

5. Age 17 – 18
Mike has never seen me totally naked but he has been pawing at my bra for the last 40 minutes so I think it’s time to go for it. I am freeeeeaking outtttt. Here is my vagina! Being seen by a person who is not my mom. He is kind of looking at it the way you’d look at an alien, but an awesome alien that gives you free pizza. I can’t believe the effect my total nakedness has on him! I feel like Cleopatra or Courtney Stodden or something. I could get used to this.

6. Age 18 - 21
Wow, everyone at college is basically Jaime Goldberg. I guess boobs in the girls’ shower/bathroom area is no big thing. So I’ll just go do it and then walk back to my dorm room with my little waterproof basket of loofahs and stuff like a PIIIIIIMP. Also, about 17 guys have seen me naked since Welcome Week, and none of them have complained.

7. Age 22 - 23
He's gonna see the food baby. Why did I eat that burrito? Why couldn't I have gotten a salad made of air and tears?

8. Age 24
Oh, right, because burritos are delicious and I would like to enjoy my life.

9. Age 25 - 26
Dude. This is the best I’m probably ever going to look. Those communal dressing rooms at Loehmann’s don’t even bother me. **Flawless.

10. Age 27 - 30
Am I drooping? Oh, screw it, who cares.

Look Even Better Naked

We’re all for having killer confidence in the bedroom. But even the most self-assured chicks can use a little boost here and there.

That’s why we consulted top fashion and portrait photographer Cliff Watts. His new book, Watts: Wood, Water & Rock, is full of artsy, beautiful photos of the human form in the buff, but Cliff has also shot Cosmo covers and fashion stories. Either way, he knows what makes a gorgeous visual. We had to steal his insider tricks to pulling off buff beauty.

Slather on the Lotion
It’s the key to capturing that gorgeous glow. “You want to look subtle and supple,” says Watts. “Moisturizer is the key.” Have a seduction moment approaching? Hit the bathroom right beforehand, rub lotion all over your body, and go for it. Added perk: The moisturizer will give both of your bods a sexy, slippery feel.

Opt for Candlelight
Dim lighting is so much more flattering than full-on bright light which can highlight imperfections. Soft lighting also picks up on moisturizer on your skin and can make you look shimmery. Light a few candles in your bedroom or use a dimmer on your overhead.

Create a Moment
If your man is already in a darkened bedroom, turn on the hall light and stand in the doorway. Your body will get a flattering backlight, which will silhouette your shape. Want to take it further? Angle your body sideways in the doorway and arch your back. It’s beyond sexy.

Own It
Tell yourself you’re hot and believe it. When you feel good about yourself, you look amazing. “Whatever body type you are, it’s beautiful,” says Watts. “Men love all shapes. You should be proud of yours.”
