Jennifer Lawrence Told Shailene Woodley to Do <i>Divergent</i>

Jennifer Lawrence, benevolent goddess of all that is important in life, told Shailene Woodley to take the lead role in Divergent. So when the movie comes out later this month and is the greatest thing you've ever seen, please feel free to address all thank-you notes to J.Law.

In a new cover story in The Hollywood Reporter, Shailene said she had a few doubts about signing on for a multi-year, multi-movie franchise until she spoke with Jennifer via email. "[She] said, 'You must do it. You will not regret it for a second,'" Shailene told the magazine. "'Yes, there are some hard things, but there are so many beautiful things that will come from an opportunity like this.'"

"Beautiful things" here presumably meaning multiple Oscar nominations, an Oscar win, and an eternal contract with a very high-end fashion house.

Jennifer Lawrence Lands MTV Movie Award Nomination For Best Kiss

Nominees for the 2014 MTV Movie Awards were announced this morning, and as usual some of the toughest competition will take place in the fabled "Best Kiss" category. There, Jennifer Lawrence's tipsy bathroom kiss with Amy Adams in American Hustle faces off against the threeway pool tonguefest from Spring Breakers. The prospect of choosing between J.Law and J.Franco makes my heart ache, but here's a handy GIF to help with your decision making:

Lawrence also received a Best Actress nomination for her role as Katniss in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. (In that race, she's up against Amy Adams again, as well as Sandra Bullock, Lupita Nyong'o, and Jennifer Aniston.) Her Hunger Games co-star Josh Hutcherson got a nod in the Best Actor category, and Liam Hemsworth did not which is just further evidence that we should all be #TeamPeeta.

Here's How Jennifer Lawrence Is Maybe About to Make History

If Jennifer Lawrence wins the Oscar for her turn as a fast-talking, hilarious strumpet in American Hustle, it'll make her only the sixth person in history, and the first since Tom Hanks, to win the coveted statue in consecutive years. Very cool.

However, it appears Lawrence is doing everything you she can to not win that title. She's done no press and skipped important luncheons, and has even said she doesn't want more accolades. Upon winning the Golden Globe earlier this year, Jennifer Lawrence said, “I’m sorry I’m shaking so much — don’t ever do this again! It’s so scary!”

Serena Williams and Jennifer Lawrence Have Something in Common

Just days after Jennifer Lawrence was named AP's Entertainer of the Year, Serena Williams has picked up the top honor in the sports category. The tennis superstar has been named AP's Female Athlete of the Year for the third time.

This competition wasn't nearly as close in this case, however. Whereas J.Law beat Miley Cyrus by only one vote, Serena had 55 votes to second-place finisher's Brittney Griner's 14. Congrats, Serena!

Joan Rivers Isn't Done Talking About Jennifer Lawrence

It appears the feud between Jennifer Lawrence and Joan Rivers isn't quite over. Last month, after Lawrence called out Fashion Police for judging young people on their looks, Rivers responded on Twitter, calling J.Law arrogant and saying the actress didn't seem to mind the commentary when it was favorable to her. Now Rivers has told "Page Six" that her New Year’s resolution is making sure that "Jennifer Lawrence grows up and realizes how lucky she is and calms down.”

She went on: “I love that she’s telling everyone how wrong it is to worry about retouching and body image, and meanwhile, she has been touched up more than a choir boy at the Vatican. Look at her posters. She doesn’t have a nose, she has two holes. She just has to learn, don’t talk if you’re doing it.”

Lawrence has already been nominated for a Golden Globe and will surely be a red carpet regular this awards season, so it's possible that this isn't the end of it.

Don't Worry About Your Uneven Boobs, Jennifer Lawrence

Actress Jennifer Lawrence is pretty much flawless in our book, but she's has one body hang-up: The size of her breasts—specifically, the size of one compared to the other.

"I went to the doctor today and got a chest X-ray of my lungs and discovered that my breasts are uneven! That was all I saw," she told Jimmy Kimmel.

Don't worry, Jen: You're the not the only one with this boob problem! We've actually noticed this phenomenon on our own bodies, so we asked Cosmo Radio women's health expert Jennifer Wider, MD, to give us the lowdown on differing boob sizes.

"It's very common," Dr. Wider said. "At least one in two women have slightly uneven breasts—the left is usually a little bigger."

There's no real medical reason why this happens, it just does. Us ladies aren't the only ones affected by it, either.

"Men have one testicle that's slightly larger than the other," Dr. Wider added.

So, don't sweat it: No guy is going to judge in bed because your boobs aren't the exact same size.

What he is thinking? "Damn, I'm so happy I'm looking at naked boobs."
