Eliot Spitzer, Silda Wall Spitzer Announce Split

Former New York governor Eliot Spitzer and his wife, Silda Wall Spitzer, have announced that their marriage is over. “We regret that our marital relationship has come to an end and we have agreed not to make any other public statement on this subject,” they said in a joint statement released by his spokeswoman. The couple married in 1987.

They have been living separately for months, according to the New York Times, and there have been recent reports that Eliot Spitzer is involved with Lis Smith, a spokeswoman for New York Mayor-editor Bill de Blasio.

Spitzer, who formerly served as New York attorney general, resigned as governor after he was busted for being a client of a prostitution ring.

Heidi Klum And Seal's Shocking Split

Chalk this up under breakups we didn’t see coming: Golden couple Heidi Klum and Seal announced on Sunday night that they’re splitting after seven years of marriage.  

The couple, who famously renewed their vows every year on their wedding anniversary, said in a statement that they “have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”  

When she was a Cosmo covergirl back in May 2010, Heidi called her husband “perfect” and raved about their “nice and spicy” sex life. But she also seemed to be a realist about their future, telling us, “You can’t always know that you’re going to be a certain way forever. Sometimes people change. And if you do, just say you have and move on.”  

Seal is planning to make the TV show rounds this week in support of his new album, so we’ll probably learn more about what caused the split soon.

J.Lo and Marc Anthony split

After seven years of marriage and two beautiful babies later, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have decided to divorce.

"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision," they said in a statement. "We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

The split comes as a shock for fans of the superstar couple, especially as J.Lo and Marc seemed inseparable; twice renewing their wedding vows over the years and often appearing on stage together. In April, the couple had also signed on to do a reality show, Q'Viva! The Chosen, which some say could be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Given Jen's latest chart-topping album is called Love?, could that telltale question mark be a sign that all was not well in paradise?
