"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision," they said in a statement. "We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."
The split comes as a shock for fans of the superstar couple, especially as J.Lo and Marc seemed inseparable; twice renewing their wedding vows over the years and often appearing on stage together. In April, the couple had also signed on to do a reality show, Q'Viva! The Chosen, which some say could be the straw that broke the camel's back.
Given Jen's latest chart-topping album is called Love?, could that telltale question mark be a sign that all was not well in paradise?
