How to Score an Award-Winning Blowout Like Kim Sears's (Who Knows, You May Just Land Yourself a Pro Tennis BF)

If you caught Wimbledon at all this weekend, then we're pretty sure you suffered from major hair envy when you spotted Kim Sears, eventual champion Andy Murray's gorgeous girlfriend, in the stands.

While Murray was busy getting a serious sports monkey off his back, Sears was cheering him on—and winning best blowout. Ever.

Even with temperatures hitting abnormal heights for London at yesterday's finals match, Sears' picture-perfect hair stayed flawless and frizz-free throughout the entire game and well into the night, where she appeared to sport the same blowout while celebrating Murray's iconic win at the Wimbledon Championships 2013 Winners Ball (shown left).

We love that she didn't change up her mane for the evening event, but now we're dying to know how she got her blowout to A. look like that and B. last that long. So, we called up Olivia Halpin, senior stylist and educator at DreamDry in NYC, a salon that specializes in blowouts only, to give us the deets on scoring an award-winning blow dry that actually lasts.

"The key to a blowout like Kim's is all about the prep and the finish," she says. "You'll want to first use a volumizing spray on towel-dried hair at the root for added volume, and then a serum, like Oribe Gel Serum [$58, oribe.com], from the midshaft of your hair down to the ends to keep frizz from happening. This particular serum also offers hold, so your hair will stay how you styled it."

Next, Halpin suggests rough-drying your hair using a blow dryer only while your head is upside down. "You want to make sure you get all of the moisture out of your hair, because if it's the least bit damp when you go outside, it could frizz up and the style could fall quickly." If you have really thick hair, "blow dry the top half of your hair and loosely swirl and stack it on the top of your head, securing it with a bobby pin, while you blow dry the bottom half. Letting it set in this position while your hair is still hot will help the volume lock in and stay longer."

"After your hair is completely dry, use a medium-size ceramic round brush to smooth your hair from midshaft to ends. Then, to get Sears's slight face-framing curls, grab a one and a half inch barrel curling iron and create loose bends around your face, turning the rod away from you as you twist it."

Okay, you're almost done. Lastly, Halpin always finishes with a medium-hold hairspray [try John Frieda Luxurious Volume All-Day Hold Hairspray, $6, target.com], and if it's really hot outside, after coating the hair with hair spray, she use Oribe ImpermĂ©able Anti-Humidity Spray, $39, oribe.com, whichs acts like a humidity-fighting topcoat, so you hair has that bombshell look longer.

VoilĂ !

"Bow Down" Haters: Beyonce Is Amazing and She Knows It.

Not even Beyonce is immune to the double standards that plague the sexes.

The superstar — emphasis on THE — unveiled her first new song on her Tumblr since her last album, "4", which was released two years ago. Queen Bey has been hanging with her daughter Blue Ivy in the meantime.

And the song, a combo tune of two tracks, entitled "Bow Down/I Been On", seems to reflect just that, with boastful lyrics like: "I took my time to live my life; But don’t think I’m just his little wife. Don’t get it twisted; This is my sh*t," that would even make Beyonce's braggart male counterparts proud.

But not everyone would agree. Audiences are split about some of Beyonce's lines, including the hook: “I know when you were little girls you dreamt of being in my world. Don’t forget it. Respect that. Bow Down b****." The song on her Tumblr was released with a picture of a young Beyonce dressed in pageant garb surrounded in a room filled with ribbons and trophies.

The lyrics aren't any more controversial than Beyonce's own husband's, Jay-Z, or their pal Kanye West, or any other (male) artist of that ilk, who often use a litany of profanity, but fans are taken aback by the harsh language and level of arrogance in Bey's lyrics.

So here's the question: Why has Beyonce ruffled some feathers by proudly stating that she knows JUST how great she is, and peppering it with a few curse words? Here are numerous examples of men who have done the same thing, and not necessarily as good of a job in the process: Nelly ("Number One"), R Kelly ("The World's Greatest"), Eminem ("Without Me"), Kanye West ("Power"), and it was Beyonce's own husband, Jay-Z who rapped "Check it out, I'm too cocky to stop me" in "7 Minute Freestyle." So what's a little respecting of her own talents here and there?

Facebook Knows Even More About Us Than We Thought

Guhh, Mark Zuckerberg has duped us once again! Intimate details about our identities can now supposedly be determined by our Facebook "likes” through a new app called My Personality.

Some 58,000 volunteers provided questionnaires on their political leanings, sexual orientation, smoking, drinking, and other personal information as well as their Facebook profiles, and connected certain “likes” to specific traits. Soon, My Personality was able to peg these traits based on Facebook likes—and nothing else. Shudder. It’s so 1984.

While some of the correlations are pretty intuitive—e.g. users who “Like” Jesus Christ are Christians, people who “Like” Cover Girl are women, people who “Like” Rush Limbaugh are Republicans—others are a little more abstract. The program correctly identified gay men 88 percent of the time based not on explicit profile information, but their interest in shows like Glee or Desperate Housewives.

Sadly, and perhaps most interestingly, those who expressed support for statements such as “Never Apologize For What You Feel It’s Like Saying Sorry For Being Real” or “I’m The Type Of Girl Who Can Be So Hurt But Still Look At You & Smile” were slightly more likely to have seen their parents split before their 21st birthday. :-|

And then there’s the straight-up weird. For instance, people who “liked” thunderstorms or curly fries are slightly more likely to have higher intelligence for some mysterious reason. (Aside from the fact that curly fries are delicious.)

Some guesses from us about other possible correlations:

“Liking” Adele – You’ve been through a breakup within the last 6 months.

“Liking” Scott Disick – You undertip bottle service girls at clubs.

“Liking” Kombucha tea – You say the word “chakra” a lot and won’t eat anywhere where they don’t serve quinoa.

“Liking” South Park – You’re in 7th grade.

“Liking” Seinfeld – You’re my mom.
