Claire Danes Basically Wore Kim Kardashian's Wedding Dress To The Emmys

Claire Danes wore red-carpet red to the Emmys red carpet.

Besides the color (and lack of sleeves), Danes's Givenchy gown was reminiscent of Kim Kardashian's wedding dress.

Killing it, Klaire.

The Kardashians' Fake House Is Up for Sale

You may or may nor recognize the house pictured above from Keeping Up With The Kardashians — it's used for the show's "exterior shots." And it's now up for sale, for a cool $6.25 million. The Kardashian/Jenner family don't actually live their though, so would-be buyers should halt their plans to casually drop phrases like "and Kim cried in that guest bedroom just up the stairs and to the left" into glamorous after-dinner conversations. The house has been on and off the market before, though appears to have recently dropped its asking price.

The Kardashians actually live nearly 20 miles away, per TMZ. Footage of this property is used instead of their real house "for security purposes," because we've all seen The Bling Ring at this point. (That said, Khloé recently reported a robbery of items totalling $250,000 from her home, so the trickery hasn't worked entirely.) Once it's sold, the mansion's new owners will be able to stop it being used in future episodes, so maybe get prepped for a fun family moving day episode next season. Kris drives a U-Haul, someone breaks a vase, baby North gets put in a box by mistake! Drama, drama, drama.

The Latest Reason the Kardashians are Glowing

moving cross country, finding a great partner... or lobbing off all your hair a la Karlie Kloss). But don't fret: It's not an impossible task. It just takes some thought—and great advice.

"A lot of times people don't like what they're doing in their current job, but they haven't defined what they want to be doing in their potential new job," Nicole Williams, career expert and author of Girl On Top, tells Cosmopolitan.com.

She says nabbing your dream job starts with doing some soul-searching: "I ask people to assess components of their current working life, and match them against the career they are looking to get into."

Try asking yourself these questions...

Time: How many hours do you want to work and in what kind of environment? Big company, small, telecommute, work-from-home flexibility (you know, the kind banned at Yahoo!)

Challenge Level: How important is growth potential and being challenged to you? Are you ambitious and ready to lean in, or just looking for a 9 to 5 to fill your time?

Work Environment: Define your best possible scenario in terms of work relationships. Who are you working with and for? What kind of boss would be ideal? Do you have dreams of becoming a boss?

Passion: How important is passion to you? For example, a woman we know races triathlons and feels like she doesn't need to be passionate about her job; her passion is attached to her sport.

6. Money: How much do you need to make? How much money do you want to make?

Steps To Making A Career Change

Stop Delaying

"The longer you are in the job you are thinking of leaving, the further away you are from new opportunity," says Williams. "It doesn't get any easier. Doing it earlier is emotionally, mentally and professionally better."

Be Willing To Sacrifice Something

You may have to start from the bottom (or the middle) and work your way to the top; Either way, be ready to drop a few rungs on the corporate ladder.

"Internships can be a good idea—or be willing to take a pay cut," says Williams. "If this internship, for example, introduces you to influential people and helps develop a skill-set, you'll be able to take these things to leverage them into a bigger position."

Start Saving

"Have a solid idea of the risk and savings in the bank," advises Williams. Even if it means cutting back on luxuries. "If you know the internship is going to last for six months at a minimum, that's the number you need to have in savings, and I normally advise 10 to 20 percent in savings as a risk buffer."

Network

"People love to talk about themselves," says Williams. "Find them on LinkedIn and through people you know, and consult with them."

Williams suggests asking those in similar fields questions like, "I wonder if you'd speak to me about your day-to-day life; What do you love most about the work that you do; What do you wish you would have known going into this career?"

"Those kind of questions are going to give you the information you need and will help you know the people you are going to need to know," she adds.

Now that you are armed with more than just your resume and a fresh manicure, it's time to start hitting the pavement. Happy hunting, gals.

The Latest Reason the Kardashians are Glowing

Kardashian Sun Kissed—we guess you could call them glow-getters. Har har.

"I think tanning has really been a way of life for all of us, living in California," Cosmo cover girl Kim told WWD. "Especially, more recently, the need for sunless tan. When I travel, the one thing that makes me feel alive whether or not I have makeup on is a tan, especially in my face. [But] when you travel, you can’t just go lay out." Also, we should add that you should make sure you're properly protected from the sun whenever you're outside!

"[So, we] came up with something that is still good for your skin and healthy for you; everything is paraben- and sulfate-free,” Kourtney said. "We love beauty and fashion, but making sure we’re taking care of our bodies is crucial to us.”

The girls' golden skin-inducing line, available exclusively at Ulta in April, includes three steps and ranges in price from $13 to $20: Step one includes either the Body Exfoliator or Color Maximizer; step two, you can choose between the Instant Sunless Lotion or Instant Sunless Spray; and step three is all about applying the Tan Extender with Bronzers.

Sounds easy enough, right?

We're psyched to test out this insta-bombshell self-tanning system next month, especially since leg-showing season is right around the corner. Are you?

The happy parents to be (aka Kimye) at a New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat basketball game. A few days later Kanye announced to the world that he and Kim are expecting a baby during his concert in Atlantic City.

To keep her secret safe, Kim went for the no-one-knows-I'm-pregnant-so-I'm-wearing-a-loose-white-top look, with one side untucked, pairing it with black skinny pants (the color that helps mask flaws or baby bumps).

Here's what she's been wearing since...

Kim Kardashian's big fat Hollywood wedding

2011 is certainly the Year of the Wedding. So far we've had a Royal Wedding, a Rockstar-Supermodel Wedding and now a Reality Wedding. Yep, reality screen queen Kim Kardashian is finally a married woman, tying the knot with baskeballer Kris Humphries in an extravagant OTT ceremony fit for, well, a queen.

The 30-year-old star spared no expense for her big day, wearing not one, not two, but three (!) custom-made Vera Wang dresses, ultimately walking down the aisle in an ivory, strapless gown with a full tulle skirt and hand-applied Chantilly lace appliqué.

Co-maids of honour, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and bridesmaids Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Kris' sister, Kaela all wore ivory gowns inspired by Pippa Middleton's form-fitting Alexander McQueen gown. Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, also wore a statement Vera Wang dress, complete with an oversized bow. Kim's nephew, 21-month-old Mason was the ringbearer, and almost caused a near accident with mum Kourtney stumbling as she carried him down the aisle.
The 440 guests, who included Kim's stepbrother Brody Jenner and girlfriend Avril Lavigne, Lindsay and Dina Lohan, Spice Girl Mel B and hip-hop star Ciara, were all asked by the bride to wear only black and white. In keeping with her monochrome theme, even the 10-tier wedding cake was only chocolate and vanilla.

So, sad you missed out on all the action? Don't worry, you can still keep up with the Kardashians - the wedding will be televised in a two-part special in E!

Kim Kardashian's hen's night... and wedding dress designer revealed!

Curvaceous Cosmo covergirl, Kim Kardashian has let it slip that A-list designer Vera Wang will be creating her wedding dress.

"Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years," Kim blogged. “When it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!”

The Kardashians certainly like to keep it in the family - Vera Wang also designed little sister Khloe's stunning wedding dress when she tied the knot with Lamar Odom.

Wedding plans have certainly kicked into overdrive for the August 20 ceremony, with Kim and her famous family partying over the weekend at Las Vegas hotspot, Tao. Kim celebrated her last days as a single woman in true hens night-style: drinking out of penis-shaped straws, downing shots and even getting a saucy lap dance from a dwarf. However, the 30-year-old star broke bridal tradition when she paid a surprise visit to fiance Kris Humphries who was celebrating his bucks at nearby club Lavo.

Kardashians kash in

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian Missed out on a payrise last year? You may not want to read this, then...because in 2010, the Kardashian clan raked in $65 million between them. Ouch. That's more than Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise and Sandra Bullock combined.

The Hollywood Reporter claims the family's fortune is down to the managerial efforts of "momager" Kris Jenner. Family friend Scott Sassa told the magazine, "Look at Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg...Two guys [who] didn't finish college [who] ended up billionaires. Sometimes just raw energy and intelligence wins out."

This year, the Kardashians will expand their empire with Kardashian Khaos, a "celebrity destination store" at Las Vegas's Mirage Hotel. There, you can indulge every Kardashian whim and buy absolutely every product they've ever shilled for. Catch a sneak preview of those products here.
