Black Strappy Shoes Are Having a Moment at the Venice Film Festival

Carey Mulligan, Gabrielle Union, and Freida Pinto clearly got the black strappy sandal memo before they attended the Miu Miu Women’s Tales screening during the 2013 Venice International Film Festival in Italy this afternoon. Though each celeb wore a different Miu Miu dress, they each donned a similar pair of strappy stilettos on the red carpet.

Carey went for a classic, open-toe T-strap to pair with her back-to-school, black silk Miu Miu shift.

Gabrielle accessorized her Miu MIu with platfom T-straps.

Meanwhile Freida opted for the Mary Jane style with her poppy-colored Miu Miu.

We know black goes with everything, but what are the odds?!
