You Can Never Get Enough Teasers for "American Horror Story: Freak Show"

Another day, another extremely spooky teaser for American Horror Story: Freak Show. In this one, which follows the demon hand and the three-legged acrobat, a human-like figure can be seen crammed in a cage while a second human-like figure with finger tattoos strokes the cage lovingly. Cool! JK, not cool, everything is so scary.

The Hollywood Reporter also has a first look at the cast in their full Freak Show regalia, and it's positively wonderful. Sarah Paulson is near the top as conjoined twins Bette and Dot, while Kathy Bates makes an appearance as the Bearded Lady. "It's darker than Coven," Ryan Murphy told THR. "It feels very unique." Um, no kidding.

And if that's still not enough AHS for you, here's another teaser that will forever ruin the appeal of lollipops:

Robyn Lawley Covers Australian Cosmo, Says "Enough With The 'Plus-Size' Label, Please"

"Plus-size" supermodel Robyn Lawley covers the March issue of Australian Cosmopolitan, and she says she'd rather not be called "plus-size" anymore, thanks very much. (She's on her way to "ending the thigh-gap obsession" as the cover line touts.) In her interview with the magazine, Lawley says: "Personally, I hate the term plus-size. It's ridiculous and derogatory — it puts women down and it puts a label on them."

"Women love seeing women they can relate to," she continues. "It's not about the tiny 19 year-old model with no personality. People want to see curvier girls. 'Plus-size' modeling is in itself [a] very small [industry] — they just need more girls to do it, and more amazing straight-sized models going into it."

And then on her swimwear line in particular, she says a plus-size label is irrelevant, as she just wants it "to be the swimwear label that fits the best in the world." Which, yeah, it seems to be well on the way to achieving, as shown in a previous Aussie Cosmo editorial:

Lawley's agent Chelsea Bonner also spoke with Cosmopolitan for the feature, and gave an awesome quote describing the scene when Lawley first learned about the "plus-size" mantra: "I remember clearly the relief on her face when I said I didn't want her to change a thing about herself. I just wanted her to be a normal, healthy, active person and see where her natural shape was."

See, fashion industry — and sure, the world at large too: IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT REALLY.

Lindsay Lohan Is Doing Well Enough To Host Saturday Night Live, Apparently

Every day feels like a new milestone in not being a colossal mess for Lindsay Lohan, and today, in my ongoing column Lindsay Lohan SobrietyWatch2013, there's even more good news for the newly sober starlet!

RadarOnline reports that Lohan made such a promising impression when hosting Chelsea Lately (it really was pretty good, wasn't it?) that she's been invited back to host Saturday Night Live on the sketch comedy show's upcoming season opener. Get 'em, Linds.

It's Lohan's sixth time hosting the show; her last appearance, a few months before she returned to treatment last year, was fairly dismal, but those were darker hours for LiLo, and recent showings have proven that it's a new era. Besides, she's a naturally gifted comedienne, and her wit has proven self-deprecating enough for even SNL's trenchant style.

Although the appearance isn't a done deal yet — apparently, she's "considering doing it," says a source, because "she loves the show and the people involved.” But that same source reports that it's a good moment for her to strike, since things are actually, y'know, good: "Lindsay is doing really, really well. She is going to business meetings and she’s been on time for every single one of them. This is the best I’ve seen her in years.”

In fairness, that source is probably Dina, but that doesn't mean it isn't true.

Enough With the Celebrity Duckface

It's officially 2013 and we're giddy with the newness of it all: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are having a baby, Brangelina might have gotten married, and, in a perfect world, we'll all be having tantric sex. Not to be greedy, but while we're at it, can we abolish the celebrity duckface?

You know the drill: Celebrities snapping selfies or strutting the red carpet strike this pursed-lipped/ kissy face/simulated duckbill expression. But instead of smooching an actual person or an envelope marked S.W.A.K., they mug for the nearest camera.

Jessica Simpson recently ducked it up in a Twitpic proudly showing off her baby bump in Hawaii. Other repeat offenders include Christina Aguilera, Angelina Jolie, and one of our ultimate woman crushes, Beyonce herself.

Among our gripes is the fact that the duckface makes a usually lovely-looking star look, frankly, like a post-op Real Housewife. It hides the very teeth, veneers and all, that we're certain some celebrities have paid for with their firstborn children. And it's nearly impossible to fully duckface and smile brightly at the same time, which means we're stuck looking at a flood of exaggerated, unnatural poses, which is depressing.

If it's supposed to be hot and turn on the opposite sex (reminding them of your lips, and, perhaps, oral sex?), the duckface fails in this regard, too. Ky Henderson, editor-in-chief of ModernMan.com, tells Cosmopolitan.com that the pose is a major turn-off.

"Duckfacers apparently don't understand that it's called duckface because it makes your face look like a duck. Cartoon characters and Furries might think that's attractive, but most human males do not," Ky says.

Despite past movements to abolish duckfacing, the trend prevails. And as long as it reigns in Hollywood, girls across the social media sphere will be puckering up. This is our appeal to you, famous women: Unpurse your lips, say "cheese," and let us see your smile.
