Kendall Jenner Just Wants to Be Kendall Now

Kendall Jenner at the MTV Video Music Awards 2014

Kendall Jenner is believed to be dropping her last name professionally.

The 18-year-old reality star is thought to have chosen to be known as just Kendall for her modeling work. She is listed under that name on her agency The Society Management's website, while other models appear with their full names, including Adriana Lima.

In recent months, Kendall Jenner has worked with Marc Jacobs for New York Fashion Week, modeled for Vogue and featured in a spread for Givenchy.

Speaking about whether she has received top modeling contracts due to her famous family members including the Kardashian sisters, she recently told Love magazine: "People think that this just came to me. But it didn't. What I have has almost worked against me.

"I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn't take me seriously as a model.

"I went on castings and some people weren't feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn't recognize me. I was like, 'Thank you. Please don't recognize me'."

Kendall and her sister Kylie Jenner recently released a science fiction book Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia.

19 Signs He Wants You

Guys aren’t exactly subtle. We usually have a total of about three moves when it comes to picking up ladies. Here are 20 signs a guy is trying really hard to get in your pants.

1. He laughs at all your jokes. You’re funny, but no one is THAT funny. He’s probably just riding the high of potential coitus and loves everything you say.

2. He’s interested and engaged. No on is interested in the story of why you deleted your Pinterest account. Unless they want to be with you.

3. He touches your lower back. Some people are just naturally more physical than others, but if he’s touching your lower back, he’s interested. This is a confirmed thing.

4. He’s buying you drinks. This is the 21st century mating call. And 20th, and 19th, and basically all the way back until before alcohol was invented.

5. He gives you his coat. This is always—always—a smooth move.

6. He texts you late. Even if they’re not sexts, no one's up at 3:30 a.m. just wondering how your day was.

7. He tries to find movies you both like. Because we all know what happens during movies.

8. He wants to cuddle. His place is a bit cold, but he only has one blanket. Maybe the two of you could share the blanket and also have sexual intercourse?

9. He likes all your Instagram pictures. Well, not all of them, but all the ones with your face in them.

10. He gives you a sly wink after the two of you share a moment. It's his way of saying, "Hey, we have a connection." Except instead of saying things with his mouth, he's closing one eye.

11. He touches your leg to accentuate a point when talking. He’s not that into the story. He's just that into your legs.

12. He Facebooks you, like, immediately. Dude can’t even wait to get home to stalk your profile and find out if you're taken.

13. He wants to split a cab with you. He doesn’t live anywhere near your place, but you’re still “on the way.”

14. He comments on little changes. If he notices you did something with your nails, that’s like the Michael Jordan scoring 38 points during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals while he had the flu of a dude being into you.

15. He sends you random-ass Snapchats. “Hey, what do you think of this new shirt I got? Don’t mind me, I’m just flexing.”

16. You catch him looking at you from across the room. This can either be really adorable, or super effing creepy.

17. He’s wearing way too much cologne. If your eyes are watering as your nostrils fill with the scent of Axe Body Spray, it’s just because his way of wooing you. Or some other woman within a 10 to 15 minute walk.

18. He tries to show off. Incorporating things he’s good at into casual conversation is never as subtle he thinks. “Look how heavy this bar stool is!” “Yeah, the other day I ran a marathon, or whatever.” “Do you want to see me do magic?”

19. He says, "I want you." Men are pretty direct. Take this at face value.

9 Christmas Movies Your Man Actually Wants to Watch

Don't believe what your cable listings are telling you! The most popular Christmas movies are not the best ones. These movies might not be the first ones to pop into your head, but they are fun for the whole family. Especially if your family includes guys.

9. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
For those who can't see their families this season, just spend a few hours with the Griswolds and relish the fact that you're not traveling anywhere.

8. Millions
I am a sucker for really good child actors, and this movie is up there with Slumdog Millionaire in that category. It's an absurdly clever heist movie (+100 already) wrapped in an adorable coming-of-age Christmas story. Plus, all the cute kids have British accents.

7. The Muppet Christmas Carol
Want to get a lively debate going with your friends? Simply ask, "What Muppet are you?" We all have such a connection to these wonderful creatures, and this movie represents that.

6. The Hudsucker Proxy
Tim Robbins gives his best performance other than The Shawshank Redemption. Plus, not many people saw it (just $2.8MM at the box office), so you can feel really hipster cool by including it among your fav's.

5. Scrooged
If Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, and Space Jam weren't enough to convince you that Bill Murray is the greatest living comedy actor, go watch Scrooged again. He has perfected Comedy Anger.

4. Rocky IV
Did you know that Sylvester Stallone single-handedly salvaged US-Russian relations in the '80s? Because he did with this scene.

3. Trading Places
Jamie Lee Curtis might be my favorite actress of all time, and she is at the top of her game. Plus, listen to this episode of NPR's Planet Money to learn how crazily accurate this movie is from a finance perspective. Props for that.

2. Home Alone
I was about Kevin's age when this movie came out. Did I try to booby trap my house when my parents went to sleep? You bet I did. Plus, Mr. Culkin gave us the gift of an iconic American facial expression.

1. Die Hard
It's one of the greatest action movies ever made, and it just happens to have a nice Christmas-y vibe layered in. Also, say "Shoot the glass" to any man over 25 and watch his eyes light up.

Right-Wing Nutball Wants To "Shoot [Hillary Clinton] In The Vagina" Over Benghazi

May 20, 2013 at 11:16AM By Anna Breslaw |

There are some trolls it's not even worth writing about. Picking your battles is tantamount to not burning out early, or becoming totally cynical, but this is too severe to simply let slide. During a rant that criticized Hillary Clinton for the U.S. Consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya last year, right wing radio host Pete Santilli says: "Hillary Clinton needs to be convicted. She needs to be tried, convicted and shot in the vagina. I want to pull the trigger." He says it twice, in fact. In case we couldn't hear it the first time. HuffPo has the clip and a transcript:

"I want to shoot her right in the vagina and I don't want her to die right away; I want her to feel the pain and I want to look her in the eyes and I want to say, on behalf of all Americans that you've killed, on behalf of the Navy SEALS, the families of Navy SEAL Team Six who were involved in the fake hunt down of this Obama, Obama bin Laden thing, that whole fake scenario, because these Navy SEALS know the truth, they killed them all. On behalf of all of those people, I'm supporting our troops by saying we need to try, convict, and shoot Hillary Clinton in the vagina."

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure there's a way to criticize Clinton's political movements without bringing her vagina into it at all, let alone including automatic weapons in the sentence: Has anyone ever snapped, "Darn that President Obama for failing to get those stricter gun control restrictions passed! I want to throw apple cider vinegar on his 'nads. I WANT TO BE THE ONE TO DO IT?" No. No, they have not. Because, uhhhh, A) A politician's shortcomings and their genitals have nothing in common with each other, and B) Most of us took our medication this morning.

Santilli reportedly plans to apologize to those who "took his words out of context" (impossible to do, incidentally) on his next show. He's been no prize in the past, known primarily for his extremism and conspiracy theories (e.g. that George H.W. Bush was responsible for John F. Kennedy's assassination), and he hosts his radio show on his website — no doubt because his wackadoo misogyny isn't AM or FM friendly. Please, Christ on a mother-effing cracker, let it stay that way.

Jamie Oliver Wants to Mess With Your Head!

May 17, 2013 at 10:00AM By Angela Ledgerwood |
British chef, Jamie Oliver, is trying to change the world one delicious meal at a time. Join him Friday May 17 with communities from all over the world, to celebrate Food Revolution Day. From Brazil to Sierra Leone, people will be hosting dinner parties, swapping recipes and sharing their culinary skills to raise awareness of the importance of good food. Plan your last-minute dinner party now and get involved. Here’s our no-holds-barred conversation with Jamie about what good food means to him.

Cosmo: What is real food?

Jamie: Real food means turning a bunch of ingredients into a wonderful meal. It doesn’t have to be expensive, it doesn’t have to be organic and biodynamic, it’s the ability to feed yourself and your family no matter how rich or poor you are. My belief from traveling the world is that clever and tasty food comes from the poorest communities—that idea drives Food Revolution Day—that you don’t need a load of money to cook delicious food.

I also believe that everyone on the planet deserves to be taught about food, where it comes from, and how it affects their body. Every 16-year-old should know at least 10 recipes to save their life. In Spain, Italy and Turkey they don’t eat vegetables because they have to, they haven’t had a food revolution, it’s because it’s fucking tasty. Let’s teach kids how to make it tasty and how can we feed a family on five to ten bucks. It’s all doable. We’ve got Bolognese’s, chili’s, meatballs, and stir-fries, and they’re all incredibly affordable, but we need to know how to make them.

Cosmo: What’s your secret to hosting a killer dinner party?

Jamie: My personal strategy is always—how can you mess with people’s heads? If you make the baddest chili with little soft tacos and an outrageous crunchy salad with the best dressing ever, and if you can prep it up so you’re not a slave to the kitchen, (‘cos there’s no point cooking the best food, if you’re the worst company of the whole bloody night), then your guests are going to love it, because good food is good food, it’s either tasty or it’s not. It doesn't have to include fancy ingredients. Often I find the more filthy and hands-on the food, the more fun it is. Done properly—done real, it taps into nostalgia and taps into memories, I think people really love that.

When you’ve got twenty people coming around, instead of buying a pork chop, you can buy a pork loin and then you’ve got crackling and the dramatic affect of that big lump of meat sizzling on the table. When you’re cooking for twenty people, you have an excuse to surprise them in so many different ways. And just have a laugh of it, and of course have a few nice drinks…

Cosmo: Do you have concerns about USA and our relationship to food?
Jamie:
It’s the obvious shit—we’re busy, we’re time poor, and learning to cook at home hasn’t been the same as it’s been for the whole of mankind’s history. At home and at school we’ve all become less knowledgeable about food—where it comes from, and how it affects our bodies. To be completely objective, it’s much easier to lie in America. Getting the truth about food is much harder here than in Britain and Europe. The standards for legislation are more lenient and it’s easier to lie on packaging. America isn’t full of documentaries and TV shows exposing hideous farming practicing and the misuse of chemicals that cause cancer and all sorts of things, so it’s important to be more cynical and ask questions about where our food comes from and if it is really good for us. When you cook for yourself and your family you have a chance to sit down with people you love and you know exactly what’s going into your food.

Some Douchey Guy Wants You To Cruise
Dating Sites For Him

UM, here's an intense real-life rom-com plot if I've ever heard one: Some guy in Flatiron, New York has taken to Craigslist to post a Help Wanted ad for a "pretty, thin, educated female in her 20s or 30s (with great taste and strong writing ability)" to... go through online dating profiles for him (via Beta Beat). Because being a douche, after all, is a time-consuming job. Sorry, I meant entrepreneur.

To be more specific, here's his own description of this fascinating, glamorous job.

Successful entrepreneur needs discerning woman to handle online dating communications for him for roughly an hour per day.

Process:
1. Review profiles of women on 3 or 4 dating sites
2. Per criteria you will be provided, mark as "Favorite" all potential women to contact
3. You'll let me know when to review Favorites periodically and I'll delete those I'm not interested in
4. You'll write to and exchange messages with the remaining Favorites and try to set dates

Here's the kicker. It pays $100 a week. I made more money watering my neighbor's plants when she was on vacation and I was thirteen. A measly hundy per week to sort through all the outdated selfies and quotes from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind that Internet dating has to offer? No, thank you. I don't even have the energy to do that for my own damn self.

Furthermore, who else feels like every woman this guy goes out with NEEDS to have this information?

7 Sex Moves You Think He Wants —But He
Really Doesn't

moving cross country, finding a great partner... or lobbing off all your hair a la Karlie Kloss). But don't fret: It's not an impossible task. It just takes some thought—and great advice.

"A lot of times people don't like what they're doing in their current job, but they haven't defined what they want to be doing in their potential new job," Nicole Williams, career expert and author of Girl On Top, tells Cosmopolitan.com.

She says nabbing your dream job starts with doing some soul-searching: "I ask people to assess components of their current working life, and match them against the career they are looking to get into."

Try asking yourself these questions...

Time: How many hours do you want to work and in what kind of environment? Big company, small, telecommute, work-from-home flexibility (you know, the kind banned at Yahoo!)

Challenge Level: How important is growth potential and being challenged to you? Are you ambitious and ready to lean in, or just looking for a 9 to 5 to fill your time?

Work Environment: Define your best possible scenario in terms of work relationships. Who are you working with and for? What kind of boss would be ideal? Do you have dreams of becoming a boss?

Passion: How important is passion to you? For example, a woman we know races triathlons and feels like she doesn't need to be passionate about her job; her passion is attached to her sport.

6. Money: How much do you need to make? How much money do you want to make?

Steps To Making A Career Change

Stop Delaying

"The longer you are in the job you are thinking of leaving, the further away you are from new opportunity," says Williams. "It doesn't get any easier. Doing it earlier is emotionally, mentally and professionally better."

Be Willing To Sacrifice Something

You may have to start from the bottom (or the middle) and work your way to the top; Either way, be ready to drop a few rungs on the corporate ladder.

"Internships can be a good idea—or be willing to take a pay cut," says Williams. "If this internship, for example, introduces you to influential people and helps develop a skill-set, you'll be able to take these things to leverage them into a bigger position."

Start Saving

"Have a solid idea of the risk and savings in the bank," advises Williams. Even if it means cutting back on luxuries. "If you know the internship is going to last for six months at a minimum, that's the number you need to have in savings, and I normally advise 10 to 20 percent in savings as a risk buffer."

Network

"People love to talk about themselves," says Williams. "Find them on LinkedIn and through people you know, and consult with them."

Williams suggests asking those in similar fields questions like, "I wonder if you'd speak to me about your day-to-day life; What do you love most about the work that you do; What do you wish you would have known going into this career?"

"Those kind of questions are going to give you the information you need and will help you know the people you are going to need to know," she adds.

Now that you are armed with more than just your resume and a fresh manicure, it's time to start hitting the pavement. Happy hunting, gals.

9 Places Your Man Wants to Be Touched

In Chinese medicine, many of the "yang channels" run over the face, and yang energy is associated with male sexual energy and arousal.

Your Move: Using two fingers from each hand, press gently into his temples for several seconds simultaneously. Then, slowly glide your fingers down his cheeks at the same time, making tiny circular motions as you inch down his face. When you reach his jaw, trace around his lips softly with one index finger. The outer edge of the lips are packed with sensory neurons which elicit strong surges of pleasure.

Your Guy Friend Wants More—Now What?

It always seems to happen with a guy friend: At some point, one of you wants something more from your relationship. Sometimes, you actually start dating, and sometimes…it just gets awkward.

That’s why we were psyched to see a new study from Boise State University that pinpointed why some of these friendships keep going, while others totally bomb.

Researchers interviewed people who had a thing for a friend, as well as that friend, and realized there were some common factors in the friendships that lasted.

Here’s the breakdown:

•Both people kept working at it.
Duh, right? But most people shut down when a friend says they’re into them, and then…things fall apart. People who said they really valued the friendship and kept working at it stayed buddies.

•They really wanted to be friends.
You’ve probably been a in a situation where you’re tight with a guy, only to have him disappear when you make it clear you don’t want to date him. But guys who just want to be in your life will stick around.

•They got over it.
Both friends had to accept that the feelings weren’t mutual and move on.

•They were tight beforehand.
If you and a guy friend had been buddies for years, you’re way more likely to keep being friends than if you just started hanging out.

•They talked about deeper stuff.
Researchers found that people who had always talked about feelings (what they were insecure about, how they felt about exes, etc.) were more likely to get over it than those who talked about more superficial stuff like other friends and what you’re going to do this weekend.

So if your best guy friend suddenly tells you he loves you, skip the “I’m just not ready to be in a relationship now” line. Just be honest and tell him you don’t feel the same way. Once you give him a little time to process that, let him know that you really love being with him (just not, you know, that way). Then, it’s his move.

Channing Tatum Wants To Show You Something...

Channing Tatum first caught our eye when he starred as ripped military man Duke in G.I. Joe, Rise of the Cobra. But we were officially hooked when he followed that with his turn as sentimental hottie John Tyree in Dear John. Next up, he’ll play a lovesick husband trying to win over his wife again in The Vow, which comes out tomorrow.

Oh, did we mention he flashes his naked butt onscreen in the movie?

Channing’s wife, Jenna Dewan, who he met while filming Step Up, recently said the cheek-shot is “definitely going to be something people rewind and play” again. Can’t. Freaking. Wait.

Channing is just the latest sexy star to strip down onscreen—Ryan Gosling, Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniel Radcliffe, and Cory Monteith have all done it recently, and a bunch more (Matt Bomer, Alex Pettyfer, and Channing again) will get strip-happy in the upcoming flick, Magic Mike. We’re definitely not complaining about this hot guy trend.

Of course, other dudes have bared all on TV or in the movies as well. Which naked guy scene is your favorite?
