Swiped From the Beauty Closet:
Vita Liberata Tinted Self Tan Mousse

I've never been big into self tanners. I don't like how they spread on, streak, make you look unnaturally "tan," or how the DHA (that causes your skin to bronze) creates that burnt-ish smell. But all of this changed when I tried Vita Liberata's Tinted Self Tan Mousse.

Excuse my language, but this stuff is the sh*t. It comes in two formulas, a mousse and a lotion, goes on super easy—especially if you use their tanning mit—there's no trace pungent smell that follows you around, and, most importantly, it leaves you with an "I-was-just-in-Greece," natural-looking color.

Created in the UK in 2003 by Alyson Hogg, an Irish woman (leave it to someone with super fair skin to come up with a kickass bronzing formula that actually works!), this faux glow crossed the pond this past May and is already changing lives. Mine to be exact.

So far my fave combo is the Rich Face Tinted Self Tan Lotion, $26, sephora.com, which goes on like a gel and is super hydrating, and the pHenomenal 2-3 Week Self Tan Mousse in Medium, $54, vitaliberatausa.com, that uses VL's proprietary pHenO2 technology to help make your "tan" last four times longer than a regular self tanner's color.

It's kind of amazing and I warn you now: you're going to become addicted. Long live, Vita Liberata! Now, go get your tan on.

Swiped From the Beauty Closet:
Clarins Double Serum

I'm not even kidding when I say that Clarins Double Serum has changed my skin.

Now, my complexion isn't Jessica Chastain flawless or anything, but it used to be pretty dry and my tone and texture was all out of whack...until I started slathering on this serum.

Here's what makes it effing awesome: It's a dual-chamber product that contains hydric (water-based) ingredients in one side and lipic (oil-based) in the other. This setup keeps the serums at their most potent state until they're mixed together as you pump them out.

But what's really cool about this serum is that it not only contains heavy-hitting, anti-aging ingredients like skin-plumping hyaluronic acid and sun damage-reversing antioxidant green tea, it's a mix of 70 percent water to 30 percent oil, which closely mimics your skin's natural water to oil balance, giving your skin exactly what it needs to be super hydrated—and honestly making it look all glowy like a teenager's.

Um, sign me up, right? Basically, if you're looking to prevent fine lines and wrinkles, keep your skin looking hydrated, and even out your skin tone, this is the ticket. It's definitely helped me in all three departments.

So, how much is it and where can you buy it? It'll run you a cool $85, but it's worth every penny, I swear, and you can pick it up at clarinsusa.com.

Swiped From the Kitchen:
Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Radish Countertop Spray

Good cleaning products are essential—especially when you're beauty obsessed. But recently I realized just how amazing this one particular, naturally-derived formula is at removing stains: Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Radish Countertop Spray, $4, mrsmeyers.com

On a daily basis, tons of products from lip gloss to tinted sunscreen to loads of nail polish roll in and land on my desk for me to try out, so that I can bring you the best of the best. But sometimes things get messy around my workspace.

For example, yesterday I was playing around with this new powder bronzer that I received and it accidentally spilled all over the gray carpet here at Cosmo. It was a mess—I'm talking a mound of dark brown dust that I thought would basically leave its mark for good.

I grabbed the closest cleaning product I could find, a packet of towelettes, to try to wipe it up. Bad idea. I literally wet all of the powder and created some sort of paste that didn't look like it was ever coming out. Then, I looked around where I sit only to find the Mrs. Meyer's Radish Countertop Spray sitting on my co-worker's desk. I was desperate at this point because the stain was getting worse, so I decided to go full force with this spray even though it's for your kitchen. Whatever.

So, I started dousing the gigantic brown spot, and I sh*t you not, it started to disappear right before my eyes. I'm not even kidding—with about eight sprays and no rubbing or blotting with a paper towel, the stain was GONE. I couldn't even believe it. I'm not even embellishing a little bit, and if you don't believe me, you can ask two of my co-workers who watched the whole thing go down. I felt like I was on the Home Shopping Network doing a before and after. It was insane.

The point of my story? While we all love playing with makeup, we aren't the neatest bunch when we're trying out new shades. So, if you spill on your carpet or get some sort of bright eyeshadow that looks like it's now a part of your favorite shirt for life, pick up this kitchen savior. I swear you won't be disappointed. Bonus: It cleans your countertops, too.

Will you be scooping up this spray ASAP?

Swiped From the Beauty Closet:
Londontown Kur Nourishing Cuticle Oil

If your nail polish chips asap after a mani or if the tips of your nails peel, you're going to want to keep reading.

I recently learned a killer nail tip from Cosmo's deputy beauty editor Jessica Matlin, who got the tip from Niki Chi, lead manicurist for Spa Chicks On The Go.

Niki told Jess that if you coat your entire nail (not just the cuticle) with cuticle oil, it will help increase the health and strength of your nail, causing it to peel less and your polish to stay on longer.

That's all I needed to hear. I immediately got my hands on the Londontown Kur Nourishing Cuticle Oil, $25, londontownusa.com, which is pumped full of essential oils and vitamins (not to mention it's vegan, gluten- and cruelty-free), and started dousing my nails. Note: Any cuticle oil will work, but this one isn't greasy and absorbs quickly.

And since I've learned this little nugget of information (thanks, Jess!), applying cuticle oil has become part of my daily beauty routine. I have a bottle sitting at my desk and one next to my bed, and I paint it on quickly whenever I get the chance. The cool thing is that you can paint cuticle oil on over your polished tips and the formula will penetrate the lacquer. So there doesn't need to be this whole production of taking off your polish and then applying the oil, etc. Love that.

Just curious, have I converted you to be a cuticle oil user or what? If you start swiping it on religiously like I have, let me know how you like it.

Swiped From the Beauty Closet: LCN Polish Seal

moving cross country, finding a great partner... or lobbing off all your hair a la Karlie Kloss). But don't fret: It's not an impossible task. It just takes some thought—and great advice.

"A lot of times people don't like what they're doing in their current job, but they haven't defined what they want to be doing in their potential new job," Nicole Williams, career expert and author of Girl On Top, tells Cosmopolitan.com.

She says nabbing your dream job starts with doing some soul-searching: "I ask people to assess components of their current working life, and match them against the career they are looking to get into."

Try asking yourself these questions...

Time: How many hours do you want to work and in what kind of environment? Big company, small, telecommute, work-from-home flexibility (you know, the kind banned at Yahoo!)

Challenge Level: How important is growth potential and being challenged to you? Are you ambitious and ready to lean in, or just looking for a 9 to 5 to fill your time?

Work Environment: Define your best possible scenario in terms of work relationships. Who are you working with and for? What kind of boss would be ideal? Do you have dreams of becoming a boss?

Passion: How important is passion to you? For example, a woman we know races triathlons and feels like she doesn't need to be passionate about her job; her passion is attached to her sport.

6. Money: How much do you need to make? How much money do you want to make?

Steps To Making A Career Change

Stop Delaying

"The longer you are in the job you are thinking of leaving, the further away you are from new opportunity," says Williams. "It doesn't get any easier. Doing it earlier is emotionally, mentally and professionally better."

Be Willing To Sacrifice Something

You may have to start from the bottom (or the middle) and work your way to the top; Either way, be ready to drop a few rungs on the corporate ladder.

"Internships can be a good idea—or be willing to take a pay cut," says Williams. "If this internship, for example, introduces you to influential people and helps develop a skill-set, you'll be able to take these things to leverage them into a bigger position."

Start Saving

"Have a solid idea of the risk and savings in the bank," advises Williams. Even if it means cutting back on luxuries. "If you know the internship is going to last for six months at a minimum, that's the number you need to have in savings, and I normally advise 10 to 20 percent in savings as a risk buffer."

Network

"People love to talk about themselves," says Williams. "Find them on LinkedIn and through people you know, and consult with them."

Williams suggests asking those in similar fields questions like, "I wonder if you'd speak to me about your day-to-day life; What do you love most about the work that you do; What do you wish you would have known going into this career?"

"Those kind of questions are going to give you the information you need and will help you know the people you are going to need to know," she adds.

Now that you are armed with more than just your resume and a fresh manicure, it's time to start hitting the pavement. Happy hunting, gals.

Swiped From My Hairstylist: Original Mineral Atonic
Thickening Spray

Each time I see my rockstar stylist Matt Fugate (from Sally Hershberger Salon in NYC), he introduces me to some new amazing hair product that I immediately feel as though I can't live without.

Well, that happened yet again the other night as he was trimming my tresses.

Post-cut he whips out this hot orange bottle filled with some kind of magic potion that smelled like what I assume unicorns and rainbows smell like. I mean, the scent is unbelievably satisfying and I instantly wanted my strands drenched in it.

What I was getting a whiff of was the Original Mineral Atonic Thickening Spray, $24, originalmineral.com. It's basically the OM in OMG. I can't get enough.

And get this, it not only has the scent of Gods, but it actually works to help give you the look of thicker hair. Fine-haired women everywhere rejoice!

So, I did what any beauty editor would do and swiped it from him to add to my already overflowing aresenal of hair products. I can barely make it into my bathroom these days, there's that much beauty loot in there.

Anyway, this stuff is seriously legit. All it took was a few sprays on my damp strands, and as Matt was blowing out my hair I could see the thickness of my mane double. It even felt thicker.

How does it work? It contains Lilly Pilly, a native Australian antioxidant that thickens the hair shafts to help increase body. Oh, and it also makes your hair super healthy and shiny thanks to aloe vera.

Really, this tonic is a win-win in my eyes. It smells beyond amazing and works!

I'll only warn you of one thing, and that's the compliments that are going to fly once you spritz this stuff on.

Let me know if you like it or not in the comments below! You already know my thoughts on this fab formula.

Swiped From the Beauty Closet: LCN Polish Seal

So...this might just be the coolest nail product to hit the scene since gel manicures: LCN Polish Seal, $22, lcnboutique.com.

With one layer of this top coat (brushed the whole way over the tip of your nail to prevent chipping), your regularly polished digits will have the durability of a gel manicure. No joke. I tried it recently and I'm seriously obsessed.

When it comes to my nails, I'm really into doing them myself, and then getting a pro mani once a month to keep my tips and cuticles in top shape. However, I hate with a passion when my polish chips and my nails look messy, so I'm constantly touching them up. But thanks to this polish seal, the touch-ups are a thing of the past.

Here's how this magic potion works: You paint on a coat over your already polished natural or artificial nails, and then walk over to a 60 watt light bulb in your house and hold your tips under the light for three minutes. Done and done.

You can also use a UV lamp, but you don't have to, which is awesome because who really has a UV lamp at the ready? The result: Your manicure will last double the amount of time, and you'll save a lot of cash since it's a DIY treatment.

Oh, and another awesome point: You can take the gel top coat off yourself with non-acetone or acetone remover—unlike regular gel manis, which require you to see a pro so you don't damage your nails.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking gel manis. I still get them, but since I don't always have the time, this LCN Polish Seal has become my BFF.

So, will you be trying out this easy-to-use, life-changing top coat? Let me know how you like it!

Swiped From the Beauty Closet: Amika Perk
Up Dry Shampoo

Not everyone was blessed with "Oh, my hair doesn't get greasy" genes. And I am one of them.

I can't hold out for four days to wash my hair (fab blowout or not) because I'd look like an oil slick. Thanks, Mom. I'm more of an every other day kind of girl.

Enter my new strand savior: Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo, $21, folica.com. It goes on clear, so even if you have jet black hair you can use it, comes in large and travel-size cans, and smells so freaking good.

Now I've used a lot of dry shampoos in my day, but this one is by far my fave. And it's been a life saver because I can now push my hair-washing to the limit, squeezing three days out of one washing, which leaves me more time in the morning—and non-greasy strands, of course.

All that said, what I'm most excited about is that right after washing my hair, I can add texture to give it that two-day-old, sexy bedhead look instantaneously. Look out, boys!

Want some come-hither hair? Spritz this dry shampoo onto your roots and into the underneath layers of your hair for some serious volume and fresh-smelling strands.

Will you be heading to folica.com to get yourself a bottle of this genius hair stuff?

Swiped From the Beauty Closet: Givenchy
Le Rouge Lipstick

This quite possibly might be the chicest lipstick I've ever laid eyes on: Givenchy Le Rouge in Mandarine Boléro, $36, sephora.com.

Seriously though, it's freaking amazing: Its formula is moisturizing, so even though it's heavily pigmented, it won't dry your lips out, its texture allows it to go on smoothly, and its semi-matte color will definitely get his attention, stop traffic, you get the jist!

Even the packaging is sexy: It's effing encased in leather, people. And, to pull it out of its casing, you gently tug on two silver studs located on both sides of the bottom of the lipstick. I mean...

To top it all off, the Givenchy logo is embossed into each bullet, which comes in 12 shades, one of them being a orange-coral color that is so on trend it hurts. It's my fave, naturally. I'm into trying daring beauty trends, so when it saw it, I knew it was right up my alley.

Basically, if you're looking for a lipstick that you'll want to actually reapply at the table, instead of excusing yourself to go to the bathroom, then this is it.

My suggestion: Swing by Sephora or take the plunge and order it online to see for yourself. You'll fall in love. Hard...just like I did.

Let me know if you pick it up and what your thoughts are. I'm dying to know!

Swiped From the Beauty Closet: Desire by Dolce&Gabbana

Rarely do I veer from my usual scent du jour: La Prairie Midnight Rain Eau de Parfum Spray, $135, shoplaprairie.com, with woody and floral notes. But recently this fragrance landed on my desk at Cosmo and it's definitely going into the perfume rotation: Desire by Dolce&Gabbana Eau de Parfum, $93, saksfifthavenue.com.

Since I'm super picky about fragrances, I'm usually hesitant to spray them directly onto my skin. But after I spritzed the inside of the box and was immediately drawn in, I knew I'd like how it smelled on me. So I went for it.

The subtle hints of bergamot, tuberose, jasmine, and sandalwood had me hooked, but what really made me swoon was the fact that it had a note of vanilla. I'm in love with all things vanilla; my obsession comes from the fact that my grandmother always wears it and it reminds me of her, so it's a comforting scent for me.

But given its name, this isn't going to be my everyday scent. It's more of a date-night worthy spritz.

What's your favorite fragrance right now?

Swiped From the Fashion Closet: Journelle Linden
Lingerie Wash

When you work in fashion at Cosmo, you tend to get sent a lot of underthings, like lingerie and delicate bras and undies, to review for possible coverage. It's a perk of the job that I particularly love.

But since I've started to acquire more of these sexy little things, I've realized that you can't treat them like the rest of your wardrobe when you wash them.

So, I've been searching for a lingerie wash that will not only treat my underpinnings with a little TLC, but that I can actually stand the scent of. Enter Journelle Linden Lingerie Wash, $12, journelle.com.

A lot of lingerie washes I've come across have a strong clean fragrance, but this one is packed with subtle hints of fresh linden blossom, violet, velvety gardenia, and cedar. Not to mention the bottle is pretty enough to leave out in your bathroom for everyone to see. Translation: It's a winner.

Here's how you use it: As with any lingerie, it's best to hand wash each piece. So, with this sudser, simply pour two to three capfuls into lukewarm water and get to scrubbing your delicates clean. Then, rinse and lay them flat to dry.

If you were on the lookout for a lingerie wash that you'll love to use, hopefully I put your hunt to a halt.

Let me know how you like this subtle soap after you try it!
