"The Ideal Woman Project" Challenges You to Love Your Body

Orlando-based artist SKIP and his fiancée, photographer Tasha Copley, have released an art installation that asks people to rethink the idea of an "ideal body."

From The Huffington Post:

The installation consists of two photographs, one showing Copley marked up by plastic surgery "guidelines" in preparation for transforming her body into the "ideal," and another showcasing Copley's natural beauty and comfort in her own skin. The images are accompanied by a box in which viewers can share what they see when they look in the mirror, and what they find beautiful about themselves.

The images are striking and powerfully portray how we can reframe our thinking about our bodies. You can look at yourself as something that needs to be fixed, or your reflection can demonstrate that you are a strong, sexy, beautiful, amazing woman. Which way do you want to go through life?

Now, please excuse me while I go get naked and strike a pose in front of the bathroom mirror. (The lighting in there is excellent, plus I can give my neighbors a show!)
