If He Doesn't Share His Ice Cream, We Shudder at His Outlook on Oral Sex

Would you date a guy who refused to let you take a bite of his dessert? I wouldn't.

ICYMI: At last week's Pacers-Magic game, the jumbotron cam caught a dude, Jake Moran, who refused to give his girlfriend, Georgia Arnett, a bite of his (amazing looking) ice cream. Naturally, the slight gathered a ton of attention, prompting Blue Bell ice cream company to gift Arnett a year's supply so she'll never have to be dissed again—which she says she plans to share with Moran. (Because she's a decent human being.)

The couple appeared on Good Morning America this morning to chat about the incident, with Moran defending his decision to keep his sweet treat to himself.

"I didn't want her to have my ice cream," he said. Okaaaaay...

On the one hand, an ice cream cone is kind of a gross thing to share—imagine if someone just, like, licked your sandwich, then put it back on your plate. But, when you're in a relationship and your tongues have been in each other's mouths—not to mention many other places–there shouldn't be an issue.

Besides, sharing food with your significant other is kind of something you just have to do—and, I would argue, it's something you should want to do, too. While it's annoying to have someone constantly eat off your plate, allowing someone to grab a forkful, or a lick, in this case, is not just an obligation, it can be a sexy way to share something delicious.

As we all learned in elementary school, sharing is caring. When dude refuses to share something yummy with you, it's bit of a red flag: If a guy doesn't share his ice cream, in what other ways is he less than giving?

CC Cream: The Next BB Cream?

BB creams (aka souped-up moisturizers that offer up coverage and treat skin care concerns, like acne and wrinkles) were all the rage until a new multitasking formula rolled into town.

Why Ice Cream Is Totally Like Crack

Know how sometimes you feel like you’re addicted to Ben & Jerry’s? Well…you might actually be.

According to a new brain scan study from the Oregon Research Institute, your brain pretty much thinks ice cream and drugs are the same thing.  

In the study, researchers gave participants milkshakes and scanned their brains. Later, they showed them a photo of a milkshake to measure how much their brain craved it, and then gave them a milkshake.

Over time, those who ate the most ice cream enjoyed it less during the new few weeks, but still wanted more of it. Scientists also found that the area of their brains that is associated with pleasure wasn’t activated as much when they had a shake.

That effect is similar to drug addiction—addicts get less and less pleasure from drugs over time, even though they continue to crave it.

Researchers said they decided to use milkshakes in this study because solid foods can't be fed to someone in the machines they use for the brain scan, but they theorized that other high-sugar foods would have the same effect (think: donuts, cake, candy).

Don’t get us wrong: Ice cream is awesome. Just maybe keep this info in mind the next time you find yourself tempted to go to town on an entire pint.
