In fact, she said exactly this: "In recent weeks I have not been hungry at all; I'm hoping it's the final stage before I can subsist on air and light alone." So, yeah. That would be called starvation.
I guess I'd live off light and air if I weren't too busy living off cake and ice cream. Priorities.
