Carine Roitfeld Never Calls Herself Feminist

What's the difference between sexy and skanky? "I think the problem of the world is sexy changed a bit. You know it¹s very important, the role of a mother… I don¹t know but it¹s feminism to me to love your kids."

At the premiere of Mademoiselle C. in New York Friday night, Roitfeld also brought up motherhood during interviews on the red carpet. "She's a very very good mother," Roitfeld said of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, when reporters prodded about their alleged rivalry. "When my kids came to New York in the beginning she was very nice with them and she'd invite them for lunch or dinner. This we never forget. It's a mother complicity and I like that."

Roitfeld recently put new mom Kim Kardashian on the cover of CR Fashion Book, but said she couldn't foresee featuring her baby, North. "It's not Momma. Maybe another magazine. I love babies," she explained.
