Taylor Swift is the latest celebrity to jump on the perfume bandwagon, teaming up with Elizabeth Arden, no less. The collaboration with Elizabeth Arden was apparently a no-brainer, with Elizabeth Arden executive vice president Ronald Rolleston calling Swift a "role model who inspires her fan base every day", and Swift expressing her love for perfume.
"I have always loved how fragrance can shape a memory, the way certain scents remind you of events and people that are imprinted in your thoughts," she said in a statement. "Lately I’ve been having fun experimenting with combining some of my favorite scents, so I’m really excited about working with Elizabeth Arden to develop my own unique fragrance."
The 20 year-old country music star is said to be personally involved in every aspect of the product development, packaging and advertising for the scent (which will be released in late 2011) – but no name exists as yet for the new line. We all know how much she loves referring to ex flames in her songs…so maybe the name will be a reference to her current squeeze, Jake Gyllenhall
