"Frozen" Producer Crushes Your Dreams, Says a Sequel Is Not a Priority

Frozen producer Peter Del Vecho has said that it is "too early" to talk about a sequel to the popular Disney film.

He told TVGuide.com that the proposed Broadway production of Frozen is currently the priority.

He said: "Certainly you can't go on the internet without that question coming up. Right now, it's too early for us to talk anything about that.

"What we have talked about is a Broadway show, which is under development. There's no specific timeline for that. Jen [Lee] will be involved in that, Chris [Buck] will be involved.

"It'll get produced from our theatrical unit. That's the next logical step for the project."

A special documentary, The Story of Frozen: Making an Animated Classic, will air on ABC on Tuesday (September 2), and Del Vecho has promised that it will give fans the chance to hear "from the filmmakers themselves".

He promised that the documentary will go into "a little bit more depth" about the making of Frozen, which has broken records worldwide.

Frozen has become the highest grossing animated movie of all time, and was the winner of the Best Animated Feature Award at this year's Oscars.
