How To Help Your Man When He's Under Pressure

Whether you’re a football fan or not, it’s hard to ignore the fact that the Super Bowl is on Sunday. Obviously, some people care about the game’s outcome more than others. And one of those die-hards is supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who, as you probably already know, is married to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Oh, and she really wants her hubby’s team to win this Sunday.

How badly does she want it? Gisele reportedly sent out a personal email to a bunch of her friends and family, asking them to support her husband and keep him in their thoughts leading up to the big game.

In the email, which was leaked to the New York Post, Gisele said, “I feel Tommy really needs our prayer[s], our support and love at this time. [Sunday] will be a really important day in my husband's life... and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this Super Bowl.” Side note: Tom has already won three Super Bowls, but apparently Gisele is really hoping he can bring home a fourth.

She added, “So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this Sunday.” Yeah, it's sad that you clearly can't trust anyone not to pass on private messages anymore, but there's definitely some takeaway here.

Whether you think it’s cheesy or not, Gisele did the right thing. Other than staying calm and letting him talk things through, when your man is under the gun, one of the best moves you can make is to show that you support him.

Although, if you or your dude is famous and there’s a chance that anyone on your extended email list isn’t totally trustworthy to NOT leak it to the media, maybe you could just tell him you’re with him in the spoken word, instead of sending that mass e-mail to family and friends.
