[Update] Woman Confronts Her Alleged Rapist on YouTube

Five days ago, Jamie Carrillo, 28, a California native, posted a video on YouTube of herself calling her alleged rapist to have a frank conversation about the damage she'd caused. It was a former (and female) teacher of Carrillo's named Andrea Cardosa, who Jamie alleges began abusing her at the age of 12 — Cardosa was the coach of Jamie's middle school basketball team. This morning, a second former student, now 18, came forward as another victim of Cardosa's at the age of 14 during the 2009 to 2010 school year, reports KTLA.

Carrillo, the first victim, says that Cardosa's special treatment didn't stop at private trips and privileges (via CNN): "She told me that my family didn't love me. She told me that nobody cared about me and that she was the only one that loved me and the only one that was there for me. She made me believe that she was my only friend, and that I could trust her. She said that she would kill herself if I ever left, and I believed her."

In the years after Carrillo's abuse, Cardosa was promoted to Vice-Principal at Alhambra High School. While the statute of limitations had expired on the case, Carillo chose to speak out in order to get Cardosa as far away from other children as possible. During the conversation, Cardosa is calm and does not deny anything.

"Do you realize that you brainwashed me and that you manipulated me and that what you did was wrong?"

"Yes, and I regret it," replied Cardosa. Later, she said, "I was just trying to help you."

The second student, Brianna, says that her sex-abuse grooming process was similar to Carrillo's, from the manipulation and alienation of family members to the special treatment. "She began to bribe me with things like movie tickets, candy bars and a trip to lunch and all kinds of stuff. Now I realize that, after everything, she was obsessed with me. Maybe in love."

Hours after Carrillo's video went viral, Cardosa resigned from her position at the high school.

An Easy Way to Update Your Updo

Tired of wearing that same old chignon, high ponytail, or top knot to your BFF's holiday soiree? Here's an answer to your hairstyle woe: Update your updo with your favorite statement necklace.

We got this easy-to-do inspiration from hairstylist Mark Townsend, who did this look (check it out on the left) on Jennifer Lawrence at the Hunger Games premiere earlier this year.

To steal her style, follow these simple steps:

1. Put your hair into a ponytail between the crown of your head and nape of your neck.

2. Holding your necklace by its clasp, attach it to the hair tie so it's secure.

3. Separate your hair into three sections, including the necklace into one of them. Begin braiding.

4. Secure the braid and the necklace so they don't unravel, and then Instagram the heck out of your party hair.

Other ways you can incorporate jewelry into your style? Wrap a necklace around the elastic band that's holding up your high ponytail, use a brooch to glam up any chignon, and secure a necklace's clasp on your ponytail holder before you twist and wrap your strands around a hair tie to create a low or high bun.

Will you be rocking any of these bejeweled styles this season?
