Olivia Palermo Shows Us What to Expect From Catherine Malandrino for Kohl's

This shot of Olivia Palermo strutting her stuff in Soho recently gives us major style envy, almost all thanks to the graphic black and white cut-out shift dress (that'll run you $88) from Catherine Malandrino's Kohl's DesigNation line.

The designer, who's known for her chic and empowering style, chose to channel the romance of Paris with her capsule collection for the department store, which hits Kohl's stores everywhere and kohls.com September 27, bringing it to everyday life with iconic prints and elements that evoke the City of Light.

So far, we like what we see.

Speaking of liking what we see: another look we're loving (pssst you can only see this dress on Cosmo.com!) is this peplum dress from CM's line, $70. Trés chic, right?!

Basically we can't wait to get our hands on her entire capsule collection and we know you're psyched too. But to ensure you snatch up the Catherine Malandrino x Kohl's line before it's on Ebay, we suggest you set your iCal for the crack of dawn on September 27 and start counting down the days!

Narciso Rodriguez Launches a Capsule Collection for Kohl's

We're counting down the days until Kohl's launches the first of their Design Nation collaboration series on Nov. 7 with Narciso Rodriguez. Oh to finally be able to afford his streamlined designs! Last night the designer threw a party in NYC to celebrate the capsule collection and invited some famous friends like Katie Holmes and Emma Roberts. And, yes, they are wearing Kohl's—and looking gorgeous.

Here's what you can expect from this Istanbul-inspired line: Polished separates and precisely cut dresses with Rodriguez's signature geometric paneling and bold colorblock—a perfect fit for your 9 to 5. Our favorites: a printed pair of tuxedo-striped pajama pants for $48, a slim black and white two-tone ponte dress, $64, and a long black tweet textured jacket, $150.

Let's face it, with prices starting from $30 to $150 per piece we have no doubt you'll donning these affordable designer pieces in no time.

PS: Keep a look out for Derek Lam's line for the retailer in April 2013.

So will you be heading to Kohl's or shopping online at Kohls.com come Nov. 7? We will!
