In her acceptance speech for UNICEF's Young Humanitarian Award, Selena Gomez gave the most adorable shoutout to her childhood best friend Demi Lovato:
I want to thank Demi. Just the fact that we’re here at 21 years old, and we’ve always talked about using our voice to help this generation. Sometimes I feel like we’re the only ones holding the fort and I’m so thankful for you [inspiring] me every day.
The sweetest. By all accounts, Lovato has consistently been there for her bff and most recently threw support behind her when Gomez entered rehab. I think we all need to listen to the Golden Girls theme song and call our best friends right now.
