The newest Biggest Loser champion shed 155 pounds on season 15 of the reality weight-loss competition, but not everyone is happy for her.
Rachel Frederickson started the show at 260 pounds and came in at just 105 pounds for the final weigh-in. This adds up to almost 60 percent of her total body weight, which is the highest percentage any contestant has ever lost on the show.
Fans voiced concern on Twitter about Rachel's visibly thin appearance, with some calling for a statement from NBC and others saying she looked unhealthy.
Poor Rachel. She looks way too skinny. She doesn't even look 24 anymore! These are concerned faces #biggestloser pic.twitter.com/whpvbq858z
— Kelli French (@KFrench13) February 5, 2014Still can't get the image of the Biggest Loser winner out of my head. Disturbing and upsetting weight loss.
— Sharon (@sdemoody) February 5, 2014The Biggest Loser is supposed to be a show about positive body and mind changes, not getting down to an unhealthy weight
— nico (@stewransom) February 5, 2014I'm not sure I'm ever watching #biggestloser again. Lasts nights finally was disturbing. VERY disturbing
— Lori Barton (@loriatstudio318) February 5, 2014This girl just who won the biggest loser clearly has a eating disorder. Don't think we should celebrate that NBC.
— Spencer Trygg (@TryggTwoSix) February 5, 2014Wonder why NBC hasn't mentioned the #BiggestLoser finale?
— Phyllis Brixey (@PhyllisBrixey) February 5, 2014NBC has not yet commented on the finale, but Rachel took to her Facebook page before the show to say that she felt like a "transformed, confident, PROUD girl."
