Big congratulations are due to Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel, who just welcomed their first child — an already-hard-rockin' baby boy named Axl Jack Duhamel, who onlookers have described as both "Fergalicious" and "G-L-A-M" even in his very young age. (He's literally one day old.)
The baby weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was delivered yesterday by a scheduled C-section at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles; she's now recuperating in one of the fancy-people delivery suites where Kim Kardashian also unwound after giving birth.
As for that distinctive name, Fergie is reportedly a huge Guns 'N Roses fan; she has performed with Slash in concert and even appeared in one of his music videos, so it's a fitting homage. Little Axl probably won't get teased in school — everyone will just automatically assume that he's a total badass.
