Drew Barrymore Launches Her Own Makeup Line

Actress Drew Barrymore can now add cosmetics entrepreneur to her long list of acting and producing achievements. The CoverGirl spokesman since 2007, whose contract is up with the beauty giant in January 2013, has announced that she has teamed up with the Maesa Group and Wal-Mart to create her very own makeup line: Flower.

Women's Wear Daily reported that vice president of beauty and personal care at Wal-Mart stores Carmen Bauza believes Flower fills a necessary void at Wal-Mart, that of the “aspirational, prestige product. Mass has pretty much been doing the same thing over and over again,” she said.

WWD also noted that it would be the first time the mega retailer has created its own beauty line "from scratch." And you better believe the A-lister has been—and will continue to be—seriously involved and invested. "I don’t want to sit there and hope it works out. I want to be in the middle, in the mix, making sure it works out,” said Barrymore.

The color cosmetics collection will be comprised of 181 products (face, eyes, lips, and nails), ranging in price from $4.98 to $13.98. PS: You can expect to see her products hitting the shelves of 1,509 Wal-Mart stores in January.

Drew is already fresh off the heels of her June wedding to art consultant, Will Kopelman, and recent birth of daughter Olive in October and now with this news, Barrymore has a lot to be excited about. All we know is we can't wait to try the new beauty loot out for ourselves!

Will you be counting down the days until this actress's cosmetic line launches?

Narciso Rodriguez Launches a Capsule Collection for Kohl's

We're counting down the days until Kohl's launches the first of their Design Nation collaboration series on Nov. 7 with Narciso Rodriguez. Oh to finally be able to afford his streamlined designs! Last night the designer threw a party in NYC to celebrate the capsule collection and invited some famous friends like Katie Holmes and Emma Roberts. And, yes, they are wearing Kohl's—and looking gorgeous.

Here's what you can expect from this Istanbul-inspired line: Polished separates and precisely cut dresses with Rodriguez's signature geometric paneling and bold colorblock—a perfect fit for your 9 to 5. Our favorites: a printed pair of tuxedo-striped pajama pants for $48, a slim black and white two-tone ponte dress, $64, and a long black tweet textured jacket, $150.

Let's face it, with prices starting from $30 to $150 per piece we have no doubt you'll donning these affordable designer pieces in no time.

PS: Keep a look out for Derek Lam's line for the retailer in April 2013.

So will you be heading to Kohl's or shopping online at Kohls.com come Nov. 7? We will!
